August 2015 Culture Consumed

One of my favourite podcasts, Galactic Suburbia, has a section in each episode called Culture Consumed where the three hosts discuss what they have been reading, watching or other form of relevant cultural activity between episodes. I really like the idea of a wrap up of cultural experiences so plan to do one each month for my blog.

Book Riot Read Harder Challenge……. how far have I gotten

So what seems like a long time ago-and what is actually a long time ago, 8 months ick-I made a post about the 12 challenges from the Book Riot Read Harder Challenge that I was going to complete in 2015. And then promptly forgot about it among the twists and turns of the year. Melbourne International Film Festival 2015 – The Year of the Documentary

Another weekend, much later in the year since my last entry on this blog, finds me yet again at my desk with a faithful cup of coffee and the echoes of the work weeks hangover in my head.*
